She told me this session changed the way she saw herself.
That it made her feel empowered. Beautiful. More confident.
And that is the part I care about most.
A portrait session should not feel like pretending.
It should not feel like performing some perfect version of yourself.
It should feel like recognition.
Like looking at yourself and thinking,
“Wait… that is me.”
Stronger than you thought.
Softer than you allow yourself to be.
More beautiful than you have been giving yourself credit for.

Justin created an amazing yoga studio in Sango!
It has such a peaceful little world around it. The inside is calm and grounded, but the outdoor area is what really got me. Trees, pool, quiet corners, and that feeling like you can finally breathe for a second.
And I love that they offer yoga for parents and kids too, because let’s be honest, kids need a place to slow down just as much as adults do.
This branding session wasn’t about making everything look overly perfect or staged. It was about showing the actual feeling of the space. Calm. Welcoming. Peaceful. Real. The kind of place you walk into carrying the whole day, and leave feeling a little more like yourself.

This session gave me all the versions.
The tennis girl.
The soft headshot.
And then this dreamy, dramatic, almost painting-looking portrait that feels like it belongs in a completely different world.
A portrait session doesn’t have to be one thing. Especially at this age. There’s so much personality, confidence, softness, awkwardness, beauty, attitude, and magic all happening at the same time. My job is not to make you look like someone else. It’s to pull out the pieces that are already there and make them impossible to ignore. She made it way too easy.
