Emma plans to work at an elementary school while attending Mary Baldwin University to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education.

"Your determination will open doors, your strength will carry you through them, and your character will leave them open for others."

Transferring to a new school for your last year was a big change, but you carried yourself with confidence and maturity that made the transition seem effortless. It didn't take long for those around you to notice your kind heart, determination, and sense of responsibility in the way you carry yourself. The care and respect you show, combined with your steady and dependable nature, are qualities that will serve you well wherever life takes you. Your faith has been an important part of your journey, and your involvement in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes reflected the way you lead by example through kindness, service, and integrity. Whether cheering on the sidelines or competing on the volleyball and softball fields, you brought dedication and heart to everything you did. As you begin the next chapter in early childhood education, your kindness, patience, and caring spirit will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on the children whose lives you touch. We know you will make a difference . . . one little heart at a time, and inspire those around you in ways that extend far beyond the classroom.

"Your laughter is contagious, your heart is genuine, and your spontaneity makes every moment an adventure."

Meeting you for the first time photographing your senior session, it was easy to see why so many people enjoy being around you. Your contagious laughter and genuine kindness have a way of making others feel welcome. You bring a light hearted energy wherever you go and your spontaneous spirit makes life a little more fun for everyone around you. Growing up in a family business, you've watched your parents put in countless hours and make sacrifices to make something of there own. Through their example, you've learned that hard work, dedication, and perseverance are the foundation for success. Your mom's influence can also be seen in the way you care for others. She has shown you the example of leading with compassion, having a heart for people, and giving of yourself when no one is watching. These lessons shine through in the love you've shown working with the younger children at school and the genuine kindness you share with those around you. Whether spending time outdoors, hunting, riding around in your truck, or loving on your dogs, you seem to appreciate the simple things that make life meaningful. Your spontaneous spirit, sense of humor, and caring heart are qualities that will take you far. As you begin this next chapter, we hope you continue to work hard for the things that matter. The future is full of possibilities for you Jessie, and we can't wait to see where life takes you.

Kardin Jones - Kenston Forest School - Class of 2026

Kardin will be attending Southside Virginia Community College to take prerequisites in preparation to apply to Bon Secours Registered Nursing Program.

"Strong enough to stand on her own, wise enough to keep growing, and kind enough to lift others along the way."

Success is often built long before anyone ever notices it. It is found in early mornings, late nights, sacrifices, and the decision to keep showing up day after day. Kardin, that commitment has defined your journey. Whether in the classroom, on the ball field, in the saddle, or preparing for a career in healthcare you have approached every challenge with determination and purpose. Graduating with honors, earning your Phlebotomy Certification, passing the National Phlebotomy Exam, and already having a job lined up in the medical field are incredible accomplishments that reflect both your ability and your work ethic. Raised in a family of healthcare professionals, you learned early the value of caring for others. Combined with your empathy and strong sense of independence, those lessons have shaped the future nurse that you are becoming. No matter where life takes you, you will still find your way back to the saddle. Growing up on the family farm, horses have always been such a big part of your life. The grit, patience, and confidence you've gained through riding, competing, and training ponies at The Woodlands Pony Farm has prepared you well for whatever lies ahead. Your future is filled with opportunity and there is no doubt you will pursue it with the same passion, strength, and grace that have brought you thus far.

"Go confidently in the direction of your dreams, and never stop becoming who you were created to be."

Life will not always hand you easy moments, but the people who are willing to keep showing up, keep working hard, and keep giving their best are the ones who leave a lasting impact. Kate, whether on the volleyball court, at work, or in everyday life it's clear that determination comes naturally to you. You are willing to dive for every ball, push through challenges and give your full effort no matter the situation. As you move forward into this next season of life, continue to trust your work ethic and believe in your ability to grow. Success is not always about having everything figured out, sometimes it simply about being willing to work for it, learn through it, and keep moving forward with confidence. No matter where life takes you, always remember that the greatest opportunities often come to those who are brave enough to go after them whole heartedly. The world has a way of making room for people who show up with heart, grit, and the courage to keep going after every challenge.

Maddox will be heading to Virginia Tech in the fall majoring in Agriculture Technology.

"Behind every achievement is a guy who worked hard, stayed humble, and never stopped being himself."

For as long as anyone can remember baseball has been a part of your story. Since the age of three you've spent countless hours on the field sharpening your skills, building lifelong friendships, and learning lessons that reach far beyond the game itself. From Dixie Ball and travel ball to the Dirtbags, Legion Ball, and your years both at Mecklenburg and BA, your love for the game and dedication to the game has never waivered. As a catcher, your toughness, leadership, and talent made you stand out earning you many awards and honors along the way. One of the greatest parts of your journey has been sharing it with your dad. Whether he was coaching from the dugout or guiding you from the sidelines, he helped shape not only the athlete you became but the person you are today. Through every practice, game, and season, the bond you built through baseball became something much greater than wins and losses. While athletics have played a huge roll in your life, your determination reaches far beyond the field. Earning your HVAC Level One Certificate through community college is proof of your strong work ethic and willingness to build a successful future for yourself. Maddox, your humor can lighten any room and your loyalty makes you a true friend. You have left an impact on everyone fortunate enough to know you.

Olivia Evans - Brunswick Academy - Class of 2026

Olivia will be attending Virginia Tech majoring in Biological Sciences with plans to attend medical school upon graduation.

"Built with grit, led by ambition, and known for bringing the fun."

Some people are talented athletes, some people are hard workers. And then there are the rare few that are both - the ones who refuse to quit no matter what stands in their way. Olivia, you are one of those people. Your grit speaks louder than words ever could. Even through injuries when most would have stepped aside, you pushed through and continued to show up day after day, proving that toughness isn't about comfort, it's about commitment. Whether it was on the basketball court, volleyball court, softball field, soccer field, or out on the water with the fishing team, you gave everything you had. But what truly sets you apart isn't just your athletic ability - it's your heart. You're genuine to the core and the kind of person that can light up a room the minute you walk in. You work hard for every goal you set and your determination inspires those around you. The same relentless drive and compassion will take you far in the medical field. There is no doubt you will continue doing big things, because people like you don't stop when life gets hard - they rise to meet the challenge.

Peyton McAden - Brunswick Academy - Class of 2026

Peyton will be continuing his lifelong dream of working in the family business.

"Built on hard work, small town values, and the kind of grit that can't be taught."

Some people spend years trying to figure out who they are, but you have always know where you belong - behind the wheel of a truck, working the land, helping on the farm, or running logging equipment alongside your family. An old soul at heart, you were raised with the understanding that hard work matters, long days are part of life, and a job worth doing is worth doing right. From planting 500 acres of soybeans, to helping care for the cows, you have never been afraid to put in the effort others shy away from. School may not have been your favorite place, but that never defined your ability to succeed. While balancing work and responsibilities, you earned your electrical and HVAC certifications with Deans List grades. Proving that determination and grit can take you far. Loyal, dependable, and always ready to help the people you care about, you live life with the same passion you bring to your work. Peyton, you've proven that quiet strength and hard work still speak the loudest. The dirt on your boots tells the story of a young man who isn't afraid to work hard for the life he wants.
