Popping in to say thank you to all of my people who keep me relevant even though I only post five times a year.
Thank you to everyone who thinks of me when you want to document whatever era you’re in.
I’m over here trying to run a business, homeschool my kids, nurse a baby, maintain a home, and keep my sanity. I probably overthink the posting-on-social-media part, which leads me to just skipping it in general — but man, y’all keep me booked even without all of that. And I am so thankful.
I remember booking a chiropractor appointment four years ago for Stark when he was 12 weeks old. He had been fussy for weeks, and the chiropractor had been highly recommended to give him some comfort and relief. For some reason, it hit me like a ton of bricks walking into that appointment — taking him there wouldn’t even be possible if it weren’t for my clients keeping me booked.
For the past seven years, photography has been our household’s sole source of income. Every appointment, every medication, every bill, every family vacation — every thing — has been made possible by this exchange of you trusting me to document your life.
So from the bottom of my heart, thank you. For your loyalty, your word-of-mouth referrals, your patience when I take forever to post, and your trust in me to capture your memories. You’ve built this life for my family right alongside me, and I’ll never stop being grateful for that. ❤️
