Here is a Facial Reconstruction Jovey of Phojoe worked on.
Today we adopt our newest case: John Clinton Doe.
John Clinton Doe or JCD is the name given to an unidentified teen found by hunters on November 26, 1995 in a remote wooded area along Turtle Creek in Bradford Township near Clinton, Wisconsin. Based on a forensic anthropologist’s evaluation, JCD was a white male, 17-20 years old, 5’6” tall and 140 lbs, with dark brown, shoulder length hair. Investigators theorize the teen passed out or went to sleep and was over-come by hypothermia, although the official cause and manner of death is undetermined. Stable Isotope analysis conducted in 2014 on bone material revealed JCD had spent much of his growing up years in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, or Michigan, reinforcing beliefs he had been living in the area where he was found.
DNA from John Clinton Doe has been extracted from one of his femurs, delivered to the genetics lab where it passed quality control, and is now in the process of Whole Genome Sequencing.
To cover the out-of-pocket costs, a DoeFundMe fundraising campaign has been started. Those interested may donate to JCD's case on the DDP website at http://dnadoeproject.org/case/john-clinton-doe/ or on the Find JCD Project’s website at http://findjcd.org or here on Facebook. As of Sept 30, total funds raised from all sources are: $663.
