⭐️ CAST SPOTLIGHT ⭐️

“The Sweater” is just weeks away from production! While everyone eagerly awaits for filming to begin, we’d like to introduce you to our talented cast members who will bring this story to life!

Autumn Rae (Jane McQueen) is a young actor and singer from West Virginia who has a strong foundation in live performance and a deep love for storytelling. Relatively new to film, but a part of the performing arts for the past decade, she brings authenticity, emotion, and passion into every role she is given. In the summer of 2025, she landed her first professional contract with Theatre West Virginia, an outdoor theatre known for showcasing West Virginia’s history. Besides theatre and film, Autumn is also a trained vocalist who has been singing for crowds since a young age.

Double-U Pictures is excited to be partnering with Dalewood Creative and Lost Trail Film & Photo to produce “THE SWEATER,” an upcoming short-film.

Film synopsis: During a post-war celebration, a WWI soldier has an unlikely encounter with a mysterious figure.

We are in search of background actors to portray local citizens and dance attendees in the film. Filming will take place on Sunday, March 1, 2026 in Shinnston, West Virginia.

Please note that your involvement in the film will be as an extra and you will not be compensated (volunteer work only).

Here are some of my favorite frames from Valley of the Shadow from Silver Hills Pictures. The feature just had its WV premiere and is being screened to distributors in LA this week.

The film was shot in Buckhannon and Weston over the course of 13 days in July of last year and included a local and mostly WV cast and crew.
