Another session that means so much to me! I’m surrounded by so many sweet little babies and it makes my heart so happy! I know I’ll get to watch them all grow and change all while documenting them year after year.. it’s truly the best job in the world! And having friends that trust me is such an honor!

This weather lately has me STRESSED. 😅 We thought it was going to be cloudy… then it turned into full sun. We thought it might storm… nope. Just sunny, HOT, and windy. 😂

I honestly can’t tell you the last time I intentionally shot a session in direct sunlight like this… but I think I might be in love with the result. ☀️✨

It’s also a good reminder that one of the biggest things you’re investing in when you hire a photographer is experience. The weather doesn’t always cooperate, toddlers don’t always cooperate, and sometimes every plan goes out the window. Knowing how to adapt, find the light, and still create beautiful images is part of the job and one of my favorite parts.

Getting to photograph another photographer’s family is always such an honor. 🥹

I love being able to give other photographers the chance to step out from behind the camera and simply be present with the people they love most. And one of my favorite parts is collaborating together and bringing their ideas and vision to life!

This session comes with a little bit of a story. Their car broke down 13 miles from my house so we decided to just go for it and do this session in a parking lot! Thankful for clients that trust me even in the most chaotic moments!

I love documenting motherhood, but sessions like these are extra special.. capturing not just mamas and their babies, but the bond between sisters experiencing motherhood together. And cousins getting to grow up to be best friends!
