Leona joined the EFM&A team in August 2023 as a Personal Lines Account Manager, bringing her passion for helping others and providing clients with the quality care and attention they deserve.

Before joining EFM&A, Leona worked at AAA, where she started in dispatch before moving into insurance after earning her PC & BR licenses. Today, she specializes in personal lines, client retention, and new business.

When I get frustrated, down or I start to question how hard a very small business is to run….I often think, “well, 🤷‍♀️ you’re still here.” 20 some years later, I’m not done, I’m still doing my thing. I might not make the biggest waves, but I’m still persevering. Sometimes I feel invisible.

I think it comes down to hearing and truly seeing people. Listening to them. I’m genuinely interested in your stories. I love that I get to know new people every week. I love your children. They’re all so funny and unique and full of life. I’m not all about getting the job done and moving on. I think where social media and newcomers fail, is thinking it’s all about the show; pretense, pomp and circumstance…false confidence. Faking it til you make it. Giving “your interpretation” of their day or their family. But- this is not my show. It’s your story.

The truth is, honesty, integrity and showcasing love- that’s where magic lives. Big, small, whatever comes my way, that’s the path I keep choosing. And I choose to see you all soon.

One thing I've been doing a bit differently this year is encouraging mom (or mom and dad) to have a few portraits taken with their son or daughter during their senior portraits. It's such a special time in your child's life, it deserves to be preserved. I've enjoyed the results immensely!

Shane was a champ and did a wonderful job in spite of the humidity, mosquitos and heat! I had a wonderful time meeting him, his folks and his dog, Murphy.
