🎄Christmas Mini Sessions are officially open to EVERYONE!🎄

This year I'm offering TWO different Christmas setups, different than years past, and I'm so excited to finally share them both!

🤎 Studio Christmas Minis – A cozy, neutral Christmas setup with warm browns, creams, and a little touch of burgundy. Perfect for those who prefer to stay warm and cozy indoors!

❤️ Outdoor Christmas Minis – I'm doing something a little different this year! Thanks to a dear friend who is letting me use her beautiful red barn, we'll have a festive outdoor setup on November 22nd!

Both options have already been available to my VIP group, so several spots are already booked! If you're hoping to snag a session, I wouldn't wait too long!

I also want to share a little behind-the-scenes info about these example photos! Both are a combination of real photos, Photoshop, and a little AI to help bring my ideas to life. I've done my best to make them as close to the actual setups as possible, using my real locations, furniture, and props.

Normally, I'd love to have everything completely set up and photographed ahead of time, but with how crazy busy my schedule is right now, setting everything up just to tear it all back down isn't very realistic. 😂 So this was the next best way to give you a good idea of what to expect! I just wanted to be upfront about that, and I appreciate your understanding!

I truly cannot believe how absolutely BEAUTIFUL of a day it was for my fall mini sessions this year! After all these years of hosting fall minis, I'm usually sitting on the edge of my seat watching the forecast, which almost always seems to be calling for rain 🙃 I've even had years where I've had to completely reschedule every single session!

But not this year! Michigan decided to cooperate for once, and we had the most gorgeous fall day to get all 12 sessions in! The colors, the sunshine, the weather...I couldn't have asked for better!

I wish I could share a little something from every single session right now, but I'm currently up to my eyeballs in editing, so this tiny peek will have to do for now! 😂

A HUGE thank you to all 12 families who joined me on Saturday! I'm so grateful for another wonderful year of fall minis! ❤️

I've known this family for soooo many years, and it was so good to have them all in front of my camera again! 🧡

Of course, Michigan decided to give us an absolute WIND FACTORY that evening. And with family traveling in from out of town, rescheduling wasn't exactly an option!

We made the best of it, windblown hair and all! I sure wish Mother Nature would've cooperated a little better, but it was so nice seeing everyone and getting some updated family photos for them all together.

Gotta love fall in Michigan! 🍂

Fall family sessions are great… Fall family sessions with your beloved dog? ABSOLUTELY YES EVERY TIME. Lou is a sweet old man dog who unfortunately has cancer, so we filled him up with treats and lots of pets during the session, and he even got his own special portrait! 🥹

The fall colors are definitely here to stay for a bit, but we were a little thrown off by how hot it was this night haha...

Well, you guys did it again 🥹

I am so incredibly grateful to share that I was voted ** #1 Photographer in Isabella County** again this year!

This one is always extra special to me. My studio may be in Clare County, and I’m so lucky to serve families from all over Central Michigan, but Isabella County is home. It’s where I live, where I’m raising my family, and where so many of my outdoor sessions take place. To continue to have the support of this community year after year means more than I can put into words.

There are SO many talented photographers in our area, which makes being chosen for this even more meaningful. I never take for granted that you trust me with your babies, your seniors, your families, and all of those little pieces of life that go by way too quickly.

Every session booked, every photo shared, every recommendation to a friend, every kind word, and every single vote continues to allow me to do a job that I’ve been lucky enough to call mine for 15 years.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for continuing to choose Amanda Steffke Photography and for once again voting me #1 Photographer in Isabella County 🧡

Outside of minis, I also have just a small handful of weeknight spots left for fall sessions. It’s hard to believe we’re already here!

Fall is always the busiest time of year for photographers, and so many of the sessions you’ll see me sharing over the next couple of weeks were booked months and months ago. I truly wish I could fit everyone in, but there are only so many evenings (and so much daylight!) to work with during this season.

If you know fall photos are something you’d like to do, booking early is always your best chance at getting a date that works for you!

And for everyone waiting on HOLIDAY MINIS 🎄, those will be announced soon! I’m getting everything together and can’t wait to share the details!

I now completely understand why Blake was voted Mr. Nice Guy last week at homecoming!

I always start my senior sessions, especially with the guys, by asking how they feel about smiling for photos. I never want to force a bunch of specific expressions if that’s just not them. The whole point is for these photos to actually look and feel like YOU.

So I asked Blake, and he goes, “I don’t really like the serious faces too much; I just like to smile!”

Okay, perfect. 😂 I knew we were already off to a good start.

We had originally planned his session for a different day, but with rain and gloomy skies we decided to reschedule…and BOY did we make the right call. I think Sunday may have been one of the most beautiful evenings we’ve had all season!

Such an easy, fun session with the nicest kid and the most gorgeous night. Here’s a little peek at Blake’s senior session!
