I normally wouldn't post a pic like this. It was a long Friday after an even longer week. I was drained. I love taking photos of animals, but I didn't want to this night. I was just exhausted. I met this little guy named Trucker. He comes out of Maria's house and I do what I always do. I crouch down and put a hand out slightly for him to sniff. No direct eye contact at that moment, I don't want to come off as aggressive. This little guy came right up to me, put his feet up on my leg, and his head on my shoulder. He gave me a hug, in true doggie fashion. My week just melted off me. It was as if he knew I needed it. I fell instantly in love. He stayed there until I was ready to get up. Whoever gets the honor of adopting this special little guy... well, there are no words for how special he is.
