It’s wedding day for Meggie and Joey! 🥂

There for a sec I thought I wasn’t going to make it to this one 😅 Baby boy decided to give us a scare this week when we went in for our anatomy scan and we were told I had low amniotic fluid. This led to an overnight stay for monitoring and I was discharged yesterday afternoon after the fluid went up, thankfully! I might be a little slow moving today after all the exams and being exhausted from being in the hospital, but I’m so thankful I was able to make it for today. I did NOT want to miss my childhood friends wedding, so I am so thankful I got a clean bill of health to make it work.

My babies love to scare their mama ALWAYS before a wedding 😂

You may have already seen this shared on my personal page, but for those of you who may not know… we’re expecting another baby boy 🤍

After walking through infertility, the heartbreaking loss of our first son, and more waiting and uncertainty, this pregnancy feels like such a gift. For those who may not know our story, our firstborn son, Colton, was born prematurely at 27 weeks and only lived for 11 precious days. We are incredibly grateful for this second chance at parenthood and don’t take a single moment for granted.

Our hearts hold both joy and grief at the same time. We are so excited to meet this precious little boy this October, while always carrying and honoring his big brother, Colton, who made us parents first and will forever be part of our story.

My current 2026 couples are already aware, but as many of you know, this pregnancy is considered high risk, so there are still a lot of unknowns as we head into wedding season. While I am hopeful and planning for a full season, there is a possibility that this pregnancy could impact late summer and fall weddings if any complications arise.

I am beyond thankful for the most understanding, supportive clients as we navigate this season—it truly means more than I can put into words. 🤍

We would love your prayers as we continue this journey—for strength, comfort, and a healthy, full-term baby boy.

Some sessions just feel extra special 🤍

Getting to photograph this season of Meggie's life felt like stepping right back into middle school—running around her family property like no time had passed, just a little more grown up this time.

I’m so incredibly excited for Meggie and Joey and I'm counting down the days until June. It’s going to be the most beautiful celebration 🥹✨

After a few reschedules, we finally got Gracie and Dylan’s engagement session in—and it couldn’t have been better. The weather was perfect, golden hour delivered, and it was absolutely worth the wait.

Also, a little reality check… you know you’re getting old when your childhood friend’s little sister is getting married 😅

Olivia and Gavin absolutely nailed their session! I absolutely love it when people choose a family property or somewhere that's important to them for their session - it makes it so much sweeter. All the animals wanted to model for us as well 😂

Fun fact: I photographed Olivia's mom's engagement + wedding on this same farm, so it's becoming a place I absolutely love to shoot at! I can't wait to come back again in the fall for the wedding 🤍

As we officially step into 2026, I’ve been taking some time to look back on everything that made 2025 such an unforgettable year, and I’m feeling incredibly grateful! 2025 was filled with so many amazing couples trusting me to capture some of the most meaningful chapters of their lives.

Whether it was a wedding you've been waiting for since the moment you met, a maternity session full of anticipation, or an engagement session bursting with excitement, every session reminded me why I love what I do so much. Getting to document love in all its forms never gets old, and I truly don’t take that trust lightly.

To every couple, family, and client who chose me in 2025 — thank you. Thank you for welcoming me into your lives, your celebrations, your happy tears, and your biggest milestones. 🤍

On the business side of things, I’m still wrapping up a handful of 2025 galleries from November + December, and I’m currently in the process of getting all keepsake boxes and USBs ordered. If you’re a 2025 bride, be on the lookout — those special deliveries should be making their way to your homes over the next few weeks!

As always, balancing my regular 8–5 job alongside my photography business can be a lot — but in the very best way. This year I almost doubled the number of weddings I took on compared to last year, which definitely keeps me busy and on my toes. It can be hard to keep up at times, but I truly wouldn’t trade it for anything. Spending my weekends celebrating and capturing love stories for such amazing couples is something I’ll never take for granted. Thank you to everyone who is extremely patient with me when there are longer response times—it is so greatly appreciated!

Here’s to hoping 2026 brings even more love stories and unforgettable memories! I can’t wait to see what this next year holds and to continue capturing moments you’ll cherish for a lifetime. 🥂✨
