According to reports, Veteran character actor Isiah Whitlock Jr., known for roles in The Wire, Veep, Your Honor, The Residence, and several Spike Lee films, died Tuesday in New York at 71. His manager, Brian Liebman, told Deadline that Whitlock passed peacefully after a brief illness. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
