(Sound on for soothing white noise) These have been washing onshore and I continue to throw them back to living waters. Look at the age of the spats on the valves. It’s cool seeing all the eyes on the mantles too. The meat inside these aged scallops is huge compared to those I’ve scalloped for throughout my life. (Ha! As long as the tide was high enough the sea grass didn’t touch me. 🤪 ) I was never a fan of that feeling 😝. Here’s hoping they live on!
