Wedding venue hunting? Here’s something you probably aren’t thinking about yet: the light.

I know there are approximately 900 things going through your head on a venue tour, and how the space photographs at different points in the day probably isn’t one of them lol. But it can make SUCH a difference.

A venue can look incredible online and feel completely different through a camera. It’s something I notice immediately as a photographer, and something most couples wouldn’t really have a reason to think about.

Not saying you need to choose your venue based on your photographer. Just something worth keeping in the back of your mind while you’re touring.

After going to high school together, they hadn’t seen each other in years when they unexpectedly ran into each other one summer night in Mainstrasse. We took their session around Covington, featuring stops at and , the city where their relationship bloomed and flourished. Capturing the love they have for each other, their community (and the dogs, of course!) felt like I was hanging out with old friends.
