French park was showing off this day for Erin & Cams engagement session.

Every tree was at its peak. Full, loud with color. But this session felt peaceful, calm and sweet. Slow steps, little pauses with the pups & there was that kind of warmth that comes from people who don’t rush anything.

French park was already a familiar place to them. They walk their dogs here everyday. Same trail, same loops. The kind of routine that becomes its own love language without anyone naming it.

The wind moved through the trees and the tall grass in this slow, sweeping way. Catching Erin’s hair. A soft perfect moment during a session.

There were moments of laughter, leaves falling, dogs weaving between their legs. Two people in a place they already love, doing what they already do & me just capturing it.

This is what real life looks like.

A busy life with kids. It’s loud. It’s full of wild energy, dirty feet, puzzles half-done, and belly laughs in the middle of the living room floor.And honestly? That’s the good stuff.

Sometimes parents worry their house is too messy or their kids are too wild for photos like this. But as a mom myself — I get it. This is real life. And it’s beautiful.
You don’t need a perfect house or perfectly behaved kids. You just need to show up as you are. Because when you look back, these are the moments you’ll want to remember — not the matching outfits or the forced smiles, but the chaos, the connection, and the love that fills your home.

I photographed Amy & Logan’s wedding a couple years ago so when they contacted me to shoot their maternity session I was over the moon 🥰 I love being part of my clients lives and getting to document each chapter of it.

I’m veryyyy late to posting these 😅😆 This was shot back in April and they just recently welcomed their son Jack into the world. So happy for the both of them 💕
