Bill followed me. He thinks he’s too old to get back into photography. Let’s tell him that he is good enough and he should for sure get back into it.

You don’t have a talent problem. You have a business problem.

I started with a camera and a laptop. No mentor, no following. Nine local businesses pay me every single month now.

Stop selling shoots. Sell months. A one time gig pays you once then you’re back at zero. A retainer means the money’s already coming before the month even starts.

The clients who actually pay every month aren’t brands or weddings. They’re dentists, tree services, auto shops. They need content constantly and nobody’s fighting you for the job.

That’s the whole shift. Full breakdown’s free, every chapter. Comment 2AM and I’ll send it.

Nice camera. Watch until the end. I’ve been where you are. Chasing dead ends, one offs. It’s a vicious cycle that never ends in growth.

I can help you.

Every time new gear drops I feel it. That itch. “This is the thing that’s gonna take me to the next level.”

It never is.

My clients were paying me way before I could afford good gear. Not one of them has ever asked what camera I shoot on. They hired me because they trusted me and they remembered me. That’s it.

New gear doesn’t fix positioning. It doesn’t make you memorable. It doesn’t fill your calendar.

And yes, I still bought the FX5. Because I’m a moron who loves new tech 😂 But real talk, most FX3 owners never touch half of what that thing can do. We just want the shiny new toy.

Build the business first. The gear always follows.

Everyone wants to film cars and clout s**t that barely pays.

The real money’s the jeweler, the transmission shop, the dentist, the electrician down the road.

Not glamorous. But they need video, and they are willing to pay every month.

Stop looking for clout. Start looking for local.

Go find the everyday business with a budget. That’s the one that changes everything. 👊

The hardest part was never the camera. It was working up the nerve to put myself out there and ask for the shot.

So here’s the move: find one local business you believe in and offer to make them a video. Free.

“Work for free?” … keep reading

What do you have to lose? Worst case, they get free content and you get a portfolio piece. Best case, they love it and want you on retainer. That’s your first paying client. from a video you gave away.

Free is just how you get your foot in the door before anyone knows your name.

That’s what I’ll be breaking down inside the 2AM Creators Club — how to price your offers and chase the clients you actually want.

Go send the message. 👊

3 years ago this was just an expensive hobby. Today it pays for everything I own. Real clients. Real retainers. Paid every single month.

Nobody needs a massive following to make real money with a camera. You need to know how to get paid and how to change your offer. that’s the part nobody teaches.

So I’m building the club I wish I had when I started: the 2AM Creators Club. Where creatives learn to turn a camera into actual income.

Are you ready?
