Delivered 's maternity session today 🥰 Hopefully she gives me permission to share the sillier moments I captured.

Her husband was my assistant and held the reflector panel for some awesome lighting effects I don't normally get to use. I loved the bounced light so much I may end up dragging my reflector and stand through the woods more!

Hey. It's me. Life creeps up on you when this isn't your day-job. I found myself in Frankfurt, Munich, Doha, Dubai, central Michigan, and Seattle over an 8 week span. Incredible opportunities!... but ones that pushed any side hustle further down the priority list.

Naturally I jumped at the chance when my coworker said she needed to refresh family pictures for holiday cards! She is on the road even more than I am, so it was a small miracle that we were in town over the same weekend and the weather held out.

I loved this find at Rentschler Park: the tall mature pines seemed an appropriate backdrop for how her boys are starting to mature. The old barn also made for a great backdrop - why fuss with a hanging fabric plank backdrop when you can find the real thing?!

Happy Easter! Supposed to be a nice day - any last calls for pictures with these silly eggs?
