i don’t think i give my mind enough time to truly process how grateful and honored i am to get to capture love but also travel and see parts of this beautiful earth i would’ve never dreamed i would get to see. I think after i do something i’ve dreamed of i’m always ready for what’s next. I don’t let myself fully take it in - something i need to be better at. But, little Leah would just be screaming right now! She’d be so mind blown this is what i do!

I got the incredible opportunity to shoot Maddie and Peter’s engagement photos at resort last May and I cannot believe it’s been a year! Time has been flying by faster than I’ve ever felt it.

Now I get the incredible honor of standing by their side to capture their wedding day at the port orleans resort and boardwalk this fall. I mean i’m just in a dream at this point. Not only is it so special to me having grown up going to disney but I get to capture and support the sweetest humans Maddie and Peter. I could not be more grateful and excited, it’s going to be incredible.

My new website is live and I can’t wait for you to experience it!

I needed a change when it came to the way I want my brand to come across to couples and clients. More intention, a clearer voice, and core values that represent me, my work, and my heart.

Leah Davies Photography is still taking on weddings for the 2027 year and I’d love to get yours on the books.

A couple changes :)

- All portrait sessions including senior, family, couples, etc, are now under the services tab! You can still book your session online when you click on portfolio/services. There is no longer one single tab for senior sessions as they have all been combined into “portrait” sessions. The booking process is exactly the same:)

- Wedding clients! My collections guide has gotten a refresh and I’m so excited to give you a clearer direction for your wedding photography. AND All 2027 collections include 1 roll of film and full hybrid film photography can be added on to your collection. I am booking weddings globally and cannot wait to see where the Lord takes me for your celebrations! I have always taken on fewer wedding days to ensure a client experience rooted in focus on you and the same still stands with more intention on the couples I get to celebrate with.

The absolute perfect day for Victoria + Chris this past week in Riviera Maya, Mexico at the Hard Rock Riviera Maya🥂🌴🌺

There is so much I could spill from my heart of how special this wedding will forever be. From Victoria + Chris being the most kind, generous, and caring couple on earth. (Getting to celebrate their marriage was so incredibly special alongside being able to capture it, a dream of mine shooting in a location like this since i’ve started photography). To being surrounded by their friends and family who I’ve gotten to know through this job. To this being my first international wedding. The list could go on and on. I am forever grateful, my heart is full and I can’t wait to continue to share more images from this incredible day 🤍 and show a few sneaks they haven’t seen yet:)

when love and romance just shine through the camera so effortlessly☁️🎨

M + G’s engagement session embodied making the most of a magical rainy day at the art museum and it did not disappoint. I’m all for vogue like images and believe they can co exist with candid + real moments but there’s something so sweet to me about the images of stolen kisses, princess twirls, soft whispers, and those little moments that only they understand. More I want to showcase on the spaces of your screens. So thankful that Jesus allowed our paths to cross and feeling incredibly blessed to get to capture their love story this year

A beautiful elegant day with some super talented creatives from last year in North Carolina 🌿🤍🕊️

A cool God story if you care to read, always in awe of the way the Lord just shows me nothing when a plan falls through, another will rise if it’s his will over your life.

Attending this shoot was so obviously God’s plan. I remember last year I really wanted to attend a styled shoot in the beginning of the year. I had 2 in miami florida that I was seriously interested in but the travel costs, plans and everything just felt stressful and not right. My sister lives in North Carolina and I travel often to see her, so I had a trip planned to visit her in Feb already. A few days before then I was scrolling along facebook (which I legit never do, sorry facebook) when I saw that Sophie was putting on this shoot over the exact time I would already be planning to see my sister!! I could already tell from the online presence that it would be fulfilling space and I’d get to meet some fellow girls on the coast. It was so fun and such a beautiful day and is a shoot I always reminisce on. Also Sophie literally killed it putting together the details, anyway that’s all just wanted to share.
