I love a referral. ❤️

There’s something extra special about meeting a new client who was personally sent your way. There’s already a little layer of trust there before you ever meet, and I love the community that comes from clients connecting me with people they know.

Susy came to me because she was getting ready to launch a brand new website and needed updated branding photos that felt current, polished, and like her.

We created a mix of professional portraits and more relaxed images—and, obviously, dogs FTW.

Repeat clients booking me for different seasons and different types of sessions will forever be one of my favorite things. ❤️

I first had Noah’s mom in front of my camera for a branding session, and this time I got Noah for his senior photos.

We walked around, chased some good light, and created a gallery that feels relaxed, modern, and easy.

And a little something new this year: all family + senior sessions now include a complimentary photo book. Because as much as I love delivering a beautiful digital gallery, I want you to have something you can actually hold onto, too.

How many photos live on your phone? No really ...

Most of us have THOUSANDS of photos on our phones. We capture birthdays, vacations, new homes, everyday moments...but how many of us print these out?

One of my favorite childhood memories was pulling old photo boxes out and going through them.

Every picture came with a story. We'd laugh, ask questions - "like uhh what were you wearing?", and remember moments that might have been forgotten otherwise (that terrible wall paper?!).

I've been thinking about that a lot lately.

This sweet session reminded me why I love seeing photographs in print. I can already imagine these two looking back on this season years from now, remembering their new home and these two pups who made it feel complete -- which even though not all their furniture was in yet, they had hung framed photos of our last session together on the walls

My dog Rumford is 13 and has literally never needed a grooming appointment. Stanley on the other hand, could use a good grooming like weekly, seriously. I have not always had the best grooming experiences and seeing how Chris treats his staff, his clients (and their owners), is truly up lifting. His team loves what they do and you can feel that from the fun dog treats, toys, and the care they pour into selecting what items to carry and how to best treat their dogs.

These images are from a session a little while back and it's been fun reconnecting with Chris on his business goals as his business grows. Excited to do another session with you.

Here's how to avoid 5 Common Mistakes People Make Before A Branding Session --

1. Take some time to consider ALL the places your images can go to work for you
-website banners, reels, social posts, linkedin profile, speaker engagements, podcast features, magazine submissions, newsletters, email signatures

2. Your origin story + what you want someone to feel within a few seconds of landing on your page

3. DIY some things sure! All the things? Nah, we are here to help! From wardrobe guidance, hair and make up referrals, location ideas, and timeline proposals.

4. Holding back or showing up in a way that just doesn't feel like you can add stress and likely won't help you connect with your ideal audience. Let me help you feel at ease and your best self. You'll be prepared and confident on photoshoot day!

5. Try it on! Try it on and not the night before! So many time we have ideas of what to wear, but don't actually put things on and see how we feel in them with enough time to change it up if something just isn't working

Prepping for your photoshoot can be a lot, which is why I always help me clients understand their goals, create a plan together to achieve their vision, and send lots of tips and tricks on how to be prepared and relaxed for photo day.
