This season always feels like a transition. One chapter softens and another begins. You can literally feel it everywhere… shifting light, warmer air, the return of greens after an endlessly long stretch of grays and browns.

This April evening held all of it, all at once—golden sun, cool breeze, early spring color, and insanely gorgeous sunset. It was one of those evenings that just demands you take a deep breath and then reminds you that something new and beautiful is just around the corner.

The in-between.

Katie + Ian are living right in it—new home, new rhythms, and a baby on the way. So much change, so much beauty, so much to hold onto all at once.

Sorry not sorry but going back through old photos is just the bessssssssssst. Have you ever just gone down the rabbit hole of old memories. Minutes can just melt into hours. I loved reliving this trip to Hawaii in 2008 to spend time with .self Going through these old gems it's so fun to see little glimmers and crumbs to what the future might hold, even though at the time you were just living your life.

When the work is in flow, its hard to keep up with posting on social. Throwing it back to this photoshoot from a few months ago -- I loveeeeee all the warm vibrant tones and the soft light for this cover. No flash here, but we did pop open an exterior door to catch that little pop of morning light working its way into the frame.

Are you also sosoo sad to see another Winter Olympics coming to an end?

I remember writing an essay in 6th grade about wanting to work for the IOC when I was an adult. Like honestly, what is more magical than the Olympics?I still love it. Give me all the athlete bio stories, hometown snippets, and don't get me started on the theme song ,gah.

Alan (hands pictured here) has been to the Olympics more than once, assisting the athletes as a team physical therapist. He and his wife Chris own FYZICAL in Kenwood and help top performers and pickle ball hobbiest alike -- and of course their office has tons of Olympic memorabilia to check out.

Mmmmkay it's been a minute, or maybe never, since I've actually introduced myself on here.

I'm Bonnie and I'm obsessed with all things photography and light. But mostly people. I absolutely love my clients and hearing their stories. It's wild what goes in to getting you where you are today. I love a good origin story and cheer loudly for my fellow entrepreneurs and creatives.

When I'm not working, I'm usually making travel plans, doing something outside, or drinking espresso. Most likely, all 3 at the same time.

I live in Cincinnati, OH in a loud and loving home with my husband, our two kids, and our two very large dogs.
