Trinity University was an ideal stop during Sara and Evan’s engagement session. It was a chance to reflect back and enjoy a location that was familiar and fun. There was even more delight with Persy in tow as they walked the grounds and enjoyed the warm weather under the beautiful oak trees near the fountain.

For Michelle and I, it was a chance to catch up and hear their favorite activities from college.

The couples who enjoy cocktail hour aren't the ones who skipped family photos. They're the ones who planned them well.

There's a difference — and it's worth understanding before your wedding day arrives.

We broke it down on the blog. Link in bio →

A beautiful summer morning at the Japanese Tea Garden—the kind where everything feels completely still, except for the guy carrying a ring in his pocket.

Zach was a ball of nervous excitement, but the second they stepped onto those stone paths, the panic vaporized. He asked, and Jessica’s massive smile said everything before she could even get the word "yes" out.

This is exactly why we love surprise proposal photography. Forget stiff, curated poses. Give us the raw, unfiltered shock and the breathless hugs when it hits them that their lives are changing forever. You just can’t fake that kind of joy.

Huge congratulations, Zach and Jessica! Thank you for letting us capture the start of your next chapter. It was truly magical. ✨

This moment of Alexis as she starts her walk down the aisle to marry John was beautiful in color... but took on a whole new level of emotion when converted to black & white. The mystery, the light, the mood… it all just became very powerful. 🖤

Most venue open houses feel like a sales pitch with appetizers. Petit Cowboy on the Comal River was something else entirely.

Late nights outside the cabins. Slow river mornings. Strangers laughing together by the end of the evening. This is what a wedding weekend is supposed to feel like.

We wrote about it on the blog 👇

Ringing the chapel bell at Allen Farmhouse in New Bruanfels is a tradition that every couple takes part in after their ceremony. It's a moment where the realization "we really did it" settles in, and all the nervous apprehension melts away.

With Jasmine and Rino, it was evident. The way they looked at one another, as the bell rang out across the Hill Country, left all the guest and family in cheers and full of emotion.

Michelle and I could tell it was going to be a fun filled evening.

The best proposal stories rarely feel overly planned.

Usually it’s just two people walking through a quiet morning thinking they’re heading toward breakfast… and one of them is secretly carrying a ring.

Zach and Jessica’s proposal at the felt exactly like that.
