Yesterday my heart was full when I got a call to help a worried family find their beloved dog, Izzy, a sweet beagle.

I went to them this morning in Blacksburg, Virginia – to a beautiful home on a large wooded property, and met Don and Brenda – amazing people with incredible hospitality, but with deep sadness in their eyes. Despite the worry, they welcomed me warmly and offered me coffee first.

Then we started searching with a thermal drone and a regular drone. After about two and a half hours of effort, she was found! Sweet Izzy was returned home to the family's embrace.

I want to thank the Irons family from the bottom of my heart for the warm hospitality, and I'm so happy I could help. It was a wonderful outcome! I deeply appreciate the opportunity and trust they placed in me.
