We’re getting a little weird, with some awkward mini sessions!

September 12th, 8 spots between 10am and 2pm, $100. It’s going to be fun, funky, and perfect for framing on the mantle above grandma’s fireplace!

Get creative with us, these could include a thrift haul before your session, a denim on denim combo, pets floating in the clouds as you gaze lovingly into the distance. We can get weirder!

It’s been a while, and we miss her but are proud of all the work she’s done and the life she’s built!

We met Susy when working at a local coffee shop, she was still in high school and had a big interest in photography. We had a few weddings on the books, and asked her to come along as our assistant. From there we got to work together on multiple shoots, including a wedding where Susy took the lead without us!

So we were of course excited to capture her senior photos. And if you know Susy you know she’s got impeccable style and aesthetic, so we wanted photos that felt true to her, while staying true to our capture and editing style. What happened was a gorgeous session, and one of our funniest prompt moments, “what if I just like eat the flower?”

Susy England this album says it was two years ago, but it definitely feels like it’s been much longer than that! You’ve built a life (and literally a home), a career, gotten married, and we’re still so glad we got to be there for parts of it.

Here’s the story of Skylar & Christian’s wedding, our first photo/video bundle ever booked!

You see the core of our company form at this summer wedding, Rachel’s eye for color and composition, and our overall focus on the once in a lifetime moments. The jokes, the tears, the game of rock, paper, scissors to see who reads their private vows first! It’s the big memories in the smallest moments, and that had never been more apparent to us.

Here’s the best part about finding a love like this, it photographs so easy. Prompts are easy when you’re head over heels, and when a swing is involved there’s always a giant grin on the horizon.

Being a part of your wedding day is a privilege. Let us capture the moments, so you capture the memory.

Our stories all start somewhere.

For Waters Productions our photography wedding work actually started with a styled shoot.

But for this couple it was an opportunity to see themselves in the wedding attire they didn’t get to wear for their actual big day. That was a story you heard often during the covid era. Our own wedding was much more intimate than planned, Rachel didn’t wear the wedding dress she’d already purchased. Alan didn’t wear a suit.

A style shoot is an excellent idea for discovering who you are, what your style is, and how to manage a wedding day before the stress of a wedding day. We found our lens flare, and we never looked back. We couldn’t the sun blinded us.

We’re looking to get a style shoot underway this fall!
If you know of vendors, we’ll be making more direct asks soon, but for now tag the people in your life that missed out on their wedding photos because of Covid. We’ll be doing a free session for up to 5 couples at the styled shoot!

We’ve been a little busy this past almost year and a half.
We cannot imagine why?

We’re working on showing up better again with our work, but this year has brought new pleasures in so many wonderful ways. Cora has grown and become a whole little person. THAT IS WILD.

Yes, that’s also generally what children do. But wow. Being parents, being business owners, opening new businesses, other work and things. You lose track of how quickly a year and a half will just about go by.

We’re taking on weddings for winter/spring 2027, fall sessions are going to be here way too soon, so reach out now for family pictures, secret or not so secret engagements, or pictures for just because.

Oh and we’re going to host some Christmas minis at The Studio Aspect for the first time!
