These images are of an aspen grove with two different treatments. I have added diffusion and glow to the bottom to create the top image. I would like to hear from you which one you prefer. If you can clearly articulate a reason why you prefer one over the other I would like to know that as well. I used a Nikon D3 body with a Sigma 14mm f/2.8 wide-angle lens to capture a set of nine images at f/8 with shutter speed altered to provide one image at the "appropriate" exposure level, four overexposed images (+1, +2, +3, and +4) and four underexposed images (-1, -2, -3 and -4). I then combined the images into an HDR image using Photomatix Pro, Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CS6. I added diffusion and glow using Topaz Adjust 5 software. Thank you for responding.

I have finished uploading photos from the Montana junior high rodeo state finals. This is the address that will take you to the gallery: http://www.randywilliamsphotography.com/2013mhsrastatefinals. There are almost 1500 images in this gallery—that’s a lot. In general, Saturday events are first followed by Sunday events, and they are in the order of events each day. A way to make this easier is to use the search function in the upper right hand corner of the page. If you use this feature, search for junior high, and the name of an event. So, you would enter something like this: junior high, pole bending; or any of the other events. Click on the magnifying glass next to the search window and choose to search on my photographs only. If you have any questions send me an email or give me a call and I will walk you through the process.

These images are from the 2013 MHSRA Jr High State finals. This event was held May 31, June 1 and June 2 at the Wild West Arena in Vaughn, Montana.

I took this picture of the South Fork of the Teton River with my Nikon D70 camera, Nikkor 12-24 f4 DX lens and the Singh-Ray infrared filter. I processed it in Lightroom, Photoshop and Topaz Labs Adjust and Detail.
