Jessica + Thomas had the kind of fall day you hope for: sunshine, color just starting to pop, and so many laughs. They shared private vows at the beach before the ceremony, then came back down the aisle after “I do” with the biggest joy-filled smiles. We ended the day under the moon, howling at it, of course. 🌙🤍

Audrey + Declan had the most beautiful day at The Old Gray Barn in Dorset. They were married against the backdrop of Vermont’s rolling hills, with Declan’s sister officiating the ceremony. And later, Declan joined the band on keyboard while everyone kept dancing - a pretty perfect way to end a picture-perfect day. 🤍

The wind kept things lively as Katrina and Kyle exchanged vows overlooking the mountains, celebrated with their closest family and friends, and wandered down to the beach with Hank and Norman in tow.

The rain may not have been what Paulina and Jamison hoped for, but it brought the dreamiest moody vibes to their intimate gazebo ceremony - and cleared just in time for us to head outside for portraits. ✨

As we finished up, their shuttle driver, Randy, was patiently waiting in the grass when he spotted a four-leaf clover and gave it to the newlyweds. 🍀 Just one of so many sweet little surprises woven throughout their day.

Paulina and Jamison were incredibly kind and such a joy to spend the afternoon with. Elopements hold a special place in my heart, especially when we can weave Vermont’s stunning landscape into the story of the day.

And when I saw the bathtub, I knew we had to end our time together with something a little fun, romantic, and edgy - the perfect finish to a beautifully unexpected elopement. 🤍

Jade + Tom 🤍 This one was extra special.

I met Jade over three years ago when she started working at Mountain Top, and we became quick friends. Work conversations turned into toddler playdates, Pilates classes, and maternity portraits - and getting to photograph this day was an honor.

They casually got married two years ago, just the two of them on a walk. On Saturday, they renewed their vows on the dock at Tom’s family cottage on Lake Champlain, where he grew up making childhood memories. Then we celebrated at his family’s apple orchard, where several of his siblings have also gotten married. So much history and meaning in both places.

Their dogs, Jack and Prince, joined in the fun, along with apple pie, delicious food, and Tom’s kilt! 😍 And Jade changed into the most stunning green dress just in time for portraits in the orchard. ✨

A day that felt so much like them, and such a joy to capture. Love you guys! 🤍

A dreamy day all around for Mack + Ian. ✨ Lakeside summer vibes, effortless upscale details, and the kind of setting that feels almost too good to be real.

Add in a true dream team of vendors - the best of the best - and this day was such a joy to photograph from beginning to end. So thankful for the beautiful people, the beautiful view, and every little detail that came together so perfectly.

And a special shoutout to the umbrellas from Wild Fern Boutique for keeping us shaded and stylish all afternoon. 🤍☀️

Jamie and Jonathan had the sweetest little 15-month-old photobomber join their engagement session. 🤍

We had the most perfect evening at Mountain Top Resort - a mix of classic elegance, barefoot dance parties, and playful family moments in between.

Now we’re dreaming of the big day, just three short months away! ✨

During getting ready, Katherine’s bridesmaids were asked to describe her in one word. Thoughtful. Bubbly. Beautiful. After knowing her for only ten minutes, I knew every one of those words was true.

She spent the entire day absolutely giddy to marry Cameron, and her joy was contagious. And the way he looked at her? My heart was melting… right alongside me in the 93° Vermont sunshine. ☀️😂

What a privilege it was to witness a love so full of excitement, tenderness, and overflowing joy. Congratulations, Katherine & Cameron. 🤍

Some wedding days make you work for the sunshine. ☔️☀️

When I arrived at Sugarbush, Vermont, rain was coming down in sheets and the mountains were hidden completely in the clouds. Then, just in time for portraits, the skies cleared and Carolyn + Luke got their mountain-top moments - including a chairlift ride to the summit.

What I’ll remember most, though, wasn’t the weather. It was the people. Sisters who cheered them on every step of the day. Families overflowing with love, warmth, and genuine joy. And a song written especially for them by Luke’s brother that left hardly a dry eye in the room.

Has anyone ever heard that burying a sausage before your wedding day means it will be good weather? My last two couples have told me they did this, and both times it worked! 😂

When I left my house to head to Katy and Phil’s wedding, it was pouring down sheets of rain. By the time we were headed out for their first look, the rain had stopped and turned into a thick mist (which felt so romantic!). Then it started to clear for the ceremony, and we got the view! By the time golden hour rolled around, we had the most gorgeous light to frolic around the field in.

Maybe I should start carrying sausages in my camera bag… or would that be weird? Either way, we’re two for two! 🌭 🌭
