Erin and Jesse were married on a moody March day at with mountains fading into the clouds and a picture-perfect sleigh ride through the field to celebrate.

Erin is a fourth grade teacher, and she asked her students to decorate the table place cards for the reception based on one question: “What does love mean?” Swipe to slide 8 to see them. 🤍

Some sessions feel a little more sacred.

Recently I had the honor of photographing for , an organization that creates joyful outings for families facing an advanced cancer diagnosis. This family already had plans to visit Wonderfeet Museum, and I had an idea to help make it extra special. With one email, the incredibly generous team at gifted them an overnight stay and dinner, turning their outing into a little mountain getaway.

I won’t share their story here - that belongs to them. But I will say this: watching them smile, sled, and soak up time together was deeply moving.

Cancer has touched my life too. I lost both of my parents to it when I was in my early twenties, two years apart. And now as a mom of little ones, being invited into a moment like this carries a weight I can’t quite put into words.

I only photograph a couple of family sessions per year and don’t really advertise them, which somehow makes it feel even more like a divine appointment that this organization found me.

I am grateful to have been a small part of a day that was about joy, presence, and love. My heart swells and breaks at the same time. 🤍

Blue skies, tall snowbanks, and the sweetest elopement for Abbi & Brendan. ❄️🤍

Abbi loved a fur shawl from one of my brides last winter, so I reached out. That bride, Brenna (who handmade them herself!), mailed Abbi one of her bridesmaids’ shawls without hesitation - and it was embroidered with an “A.” Brenna is a twin (I photographed her sister’s wedding)… and Abbi is a twin too.

Such a small, beautifully connected world. ✨

Ps. Shoutout to A+B for picking Octopus’s Garden for their first dance song. So fun!

Eight years down and forever to go. 🤍

We eloped in the front yard of our new home in the middle of winter. We snowshoed. We ate pancakes. We shared communion. And just like that, this little Vermont life began.

There’s so much I could say. But right now, just thank you, God. I love you forever, Christian.

“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” -Ephesians 3:20 🤍

February 8th 🤍
The day they met. Their one-year wedding anniversary. And now, the day we celebrated their newest chapter - a baby girl arriving next month.

Below-zero temps couldn’t stop the magic! ✨

One year ago today, Sara + Chris were throwing the ultimate snow-globe wedding - sledding, diamond knee-high boots, winter magic. 🤍

Today they’re back at celebrating their anniversary with a maternity session (!!). It may be 1° with a -16 wind chill, but my heart is warm watching their family grow.

There’s nothing better than seeing my couples again as they step into a brand-new chapter together. Heated gloves, toe warmers, puffy snow pants… let’s goooo! ❄️✨

The wind was wild, temps dipped near -20°, and the outdoor ceremony found a warmer home in the loft. Vermont still showed off with glowing mountains, and Emily + Max toughed it out for some truly rockstar snow portraits—proof that winter couples are the most badass. 💪🏻❄️

When every single part of the day delivers ✨✨✨
Sophie & Will’s winter wedding was one of those days where the magic just kept showing up - moody winter night portraits, snowflakes caught on tongues, ice candles glowing at the ceremony, and snowfall falling exactly when we stepped out for portraits. Absolute winter wedding perfection at ❄️🤍
