Fun memory from 2023, we saw this Harlequin duck in Yellowstone that was very accommodating. These guys are so fun to watch, they are the duck equivalent of stunt men, diving in and out of rapids just for fun, often breaking bones in the process.

Spider Rock, Chinle, AZ. This formation found in Canyon De Chelly is truly incredible, pictures really don’t do it justice. I got to watch the sunrise here with my father a couple summers ago, he had worked in the Indian health service for a few years and this is where I spent my first year of life before we moved to Idaho, so it was really to be able to visit and document it.
