I have a confession: for the past two years, I’ve been shooting and delivering your photos in glorious 12 megapixels. Now, before you go searching for your pitchforks or a 2015 spec sheet, hear me out. There’s a method to the 'minimalism.' Most modern smartphones (looking at you, iPhone) capture 48 million pixels just to crush them back down to 12 anyway; it’s called 'pixel binning,' but I prefer to call it 'the digital identity crisis.'

By sticking to a refined 12MP input and output, I’m essentially giving you the espresso shot of photography: all the punch, none of the filler. You get tack-sharp details that look incredible on a screen, but your phone won't have a literal meltdown trying to load the gallery.
