Someone take me back to Red Gate ASAP😍⁠
It’s always such a great day when I get to shoot a wedding at Red Gate Farm and Vineyard and Lauren + Devin’s day was no exception. One of my favorite venues EVER for its stunning views of the Ohio River, glorious light, and a fantastic venue team! We had a stormy afternoon that changed plans...but with a rainbow and that incredible post-storm light you’d never be able to tell! I loved how they made their day their own with beautiful details, coffee from Slow Drip Coffee / Church Basement Coffee Shop and Coffee Truck and a band that brought the house down. Another beautiful day on the Ohio river!⁠

Throwback to Fall 2024 🌧️ WHAT A DAY Madison and Colin had that September! Torrential rains from what was left of Hurricane Helene reached northern Kentucky on the 28th, but through it all their day was beautiful and heartwarming. Their love shone through the dreary weather, and how wonderful they were about it. We had to coordinate and change plans around rain the entire day and I’m so grateful they trusted me (and my collection of umbrellas) to make it work.

🌿What a perfect summer session, in a spot special to Matt and Bri. I’m always excited when a couple asks to have their engagement session at a place that’s meaningful to them because I often discover I love it as well! That’s especially true when we have a shared love for nature and plants. I had surprisingly never been to Cincinnati Nature Center, but I’m so glad I got to explore it for the first time with these two! ⁠

Private vows are one of my favorite parts of a wedding day by far. There’s no better thing to do if you’re nervous about speaking in front of a crowd, but you still want that beautiful moment together to convey your feelings and speak from the heart...without a hundred eyes on you! Private vows normally happen after a first look, which means you get to experience the joy of seeing each other (maybe for the first time on that day) and then having quiet moment to yourselves to express all the love and excitement you share because you’re about to get married! Definitely a welcome moment of peace and connection.⁠

A winter wedding throwback to Olivia and Matt’s frigid but beautiful day ❄️

Love is keeping each other warm through the coldest days, and especially if it’s your wedding day! ⁠

Olivia + Matt got married on a windy, snowy January day, but that didn’t stop the fun! They were troopers, and we braved the cold and the wind together on the hill where their wedding venue stood. They chose the beautiful and relatively new Meadow at Wheeler’s Mill and I can say that it was definitely an excellent choice! With a black and white theme that matched the beautifully bright and simple venue, the aesthetic was on elegant and on point.
