New babies already have SO much personality 🥹

I never expect just sleepy or smiling faces during a session. I want to see the serious faces, the tiny smirks, big stretches and all the expressions in between. I love getting to capture all those little quirks that make each little one completely their own.

Many have been famously quoted talking about how music has a way of bringing people together.

And that couldn’t be more true for this bunch 🫶🎶☮️

When it came time for their family photos, and with the untimely ending of a beloved annual tradition... there was really only one perfect place to do it.

A place where family and friends gathered, where music brought people from near and far together in our little corner of the world, and where countless memories have been made over the years.

So, of course, that’s where we went to make a few more❤️

New beginnings. A new home, new job, new adventure, new season of life or simply the beginning of something worth remembering.

The idea is still the same: pick a square, make it yours, and let's photograph something you actually want to remember.

Some ideas are simple. While others might turn into something completely different than what I imagined.

Skipping into the weekend like… here we go.

If you’ve been around here for a while, you probably know that fall has always looked a little different for my photography business.

For years, I’ve planned my fall bookings around my boys’ football schedules. Because as much as I love photography, family comes first. Always.

And then this year, I unexpectedly took on the role of JFL Director… which turned out to be a MUCH bigger job than I anticipated. 😂

So while I’ve been behind the camera, I haven’t had much brain space left for social media, planning what’s coming next, or sharing all the things I love about photography with you.

But here we are… heading into our very first game weekend. Hosting 5 games🏈

I’m excited, proud, and if I’m being honest, a little nervous. There has been A LOT of work behind the scenes to get to this point, and I’m really looking forward to seeing it all come together.

And once we get through this weekend, I’m ready to start putting some of that energy back into this side of my life that I love so much.

So if you’ve been wondering where I’ve been or what’s coming next…

I’m still here. I’ve still been creating. And I’ve got lots to share.

My September, October & November minis will be coming your way next week, along with some other fun things I’ve been working on.

Football has had my attention for a while… but photography is about to get a little more of it again 😉

This has been the year for celebrating birthdays at every age and making the memories more personal 🎈🦕🕸️

The last few weeks were full of family, summer chaos, and trying to soak up as much of it as I could before school started again.

And now… the kids are back at school, which means I can once again remember what day it is, finish a thought, and maybe get something done without hearing “Mom?” 47 times 😂

So I’m finding my way back over here, too.

Every year there’s a little excitement and a little “where did the time go?” Watching them grow is definitely bittersweet, but there’s also something pretty amazing about seeing who they’re becoming and wondering what comes next 🤍

I just realized school starts in a month, and now I'm in full "soak up every second" mode. More pool days, more sleepovers, more late nights, and a little less worrying about the clock before we're back to routines.
