Let’s turn some lemons into lemonade!

I typically would NEVER take anything like this to social media but I can now count up to 10 (update- up to 23, I’m capping my counts from here. It’s insane how many comments and messages I am getting by the minute) other photographers that this person has done this to. They also chose to take this publicly on google reviews, so I’ll take the opportunity to defend myself. Also, in my 8 years of doing this I’ve never had a bad review. So, a little warning post-

I (and apparently many other photographers) have been dealing with this lady who has the initials of A H for awhile now. She has messaged me consecutively at all hours of the day. Both on Facebook and my phone number. At first, we planned many different shoots that never happened. I’m talking hours worth of my time. One day she did finally put a retainer fee down on a mini session, only to cancel it days later. By definition, she would lose it. But, as stated below, I will typically allow it to be transferred at *my* discretion depending on a variety of factors. After she cancelled, her messages became borderline harassing and pushy. I finally chose to block her on here, and she continued messaging my phone and then had her husband start messaging me. There’s also many other details I won’t share on here from both myself and others.

I can take the heat this doesn’t bother me, I know I’m a good business owner and I always do what’s reasonable. But, I also have business practices and boundaries. I mainly wanted to warn other photographers of this. If you’re a photographer and want more specifics, I’d be happy to share privately.

If you’re an active client of mine and feel inclined to leave me a google review so my average comes up, I would appreciate it lol I don’t use google reviews much! Sadly theirs is the only one that’s showing. I’ll also do a giveaway for $50 (the amount of the retainer fee) towards your next session! ❤️

*update- timeslot filled but I will open another hour if any interest!*

I am slowly starting to book for Christmas minis! I opened up my first time-slots for Be Changed studio on 11/15 yesterday in my mini club! There’s a reason I go back here every year- their sets are always SO good!

As of now, I definitely have one more slot open. I am considering opening another hour if there’s any interest.

Really big organization day over here! Lot's of things I want to touch base on 🤍🤍

- Beach Minis are all done! Check your inboxes! I am still on a 3-week for full session and 2-week for minis turnaround.

- Other than my backyard half-sessions, I am booked for family sessions until December (if you have a gift certificate, this doesn't apply to you). I DO have room for Maternity and Newborns, but it is becoming more limited by the day.

- I do have slots for the 4th of July Micro Minis, Back to School Minis, and the Backyard Minis still!

- If you're waiting on a message from me, I am going through those now.

- My first round of Christmas Mini bookings will start later this evening! This is for 11/15 Be Changed Studio. Go to my Mini Club Page to book!

- I can also take on a couple more Courthouse Weddings this Summer/Fall.

American Cuties, reporting for duty 🫡

June 23rd/June 25th reschedule date

$100/$25 at booking

My house- Kingston, OH

These are 10 minute sessions, for immediate family only. This is targeted towards kids, but parents are welcome to join if you wish. Just know it's mainly a sitting set! You can expect a minimum of 20 images back.

I will provide all things shown- this includes the glasses and windmill. I also think sparklers would be a cute additon to these but you must bring that. If you do, please make sure your kid can handle it safely. I am not liable for any mishaps.

Special conditions-

WIND- If it's above 10 MPH we may reschedule due to the ribbon. If it goes too crazy, I won't be able to capture it as shown. Please be available for both dates. Also on that note, please don’t expect it to lay flat, the ribbons will be flying around here and there!

THESE ARE AT MY HOUSE- where I'm doing this set is very close to my kids playset. I like to give a heads up because I know that can be a distraction.

LIMITED TO IMMEDIATE FAMILY ONLY- if you have anymore than 5 people in your sqaud, consider booking 2 slots.

Charlie loves his momma and chicken nugs!

Sadly, he was recently diagnosed with cancer. I'm honored to catch these moments for both him and his momma! Keep them in your prayers ❤️

Want a session at home? Something in between a full and a mini? Let me introduce half sessions!

I am taking 3-4 sessions for this date between 5-8 pm. I will finalize the timeline once people sign up and I can see where everyone lives!
