Take the blurry ones. The messy-haired ones. The ones where they aren’t looking at the camera. Take the pictures of the tiny hands, the missing teeth, the sleepy morning cuddles, the muddy feet, the wild hair, and the everyday moments you think you’ll remember forever.

Because these little years go by so much faster than we realize.

One day, those chubby cheeks will be gone. The little voices will change. Their favorite stuffed animal will be forgotten. And you’ll find yourself wishing you could step back into an ordinary Tuesday afternoon just for a minute.

You don’t need a perfect reason to take a picture. Your children growing up is reason enough.

Document them. Document your life together. Get in the pictures with them, too. Someday, these photographs won’t just be pictures, they’ll be pieces of a childhood you’ll be so grateful you took the time to preserve. ❤️
