Film scans from Emily & Evan’s summer wedding weekend in Marin 🎞️

Instead of a traditional wedding party, they got ready with their closest friends, kept things relaxed, and made time for a few candid moments together before the ceremony.

They intentionally carved out portraits with each other and their families early in the day, so they could be present for cocktail hour and every moment after.

It was a thoughtful way to approach the day, and it shows! these two were just pure joy to be around.

This dance floor brought the energy ✨ no one stayed in their seat for long.

Jess & Aaron hosted their East Coast friends and their new LA crew for a weekend in Carmel Valley, and watching those worlds come together felt effortless. Lifelong friends, new friendships, and a celebration that felt tight-knit and overflowing with joy.

Custom silk scarves and disposable cameras made their way onto the dance floor… and the rest was chaos in the best way. There were so many intentional details woven throughout this celebration, I can’t wait to share more.

Meet our sweet boy, Nico 💙🤍
Born 1/28, 7 lbs 6 oz, and the final puzzle piece that completes our family.

Big brother is already so in love. Their first reunion went even better than we imagined. We did a little present swap, and I’m convinced that helped Raphi officially seal the deal.

I shared a lot throughout this pregnancy about my hope for a VBAC after the emergency C-section we experienced with Raphi. Birth trauma is real, and I know so many mamas carry it in different ways. After multiple unsuccessful induction attempts this time around, we ultimately decided to follow our doctor’s recommendation and move forward with a planned C-section.

I had a good cry. I felt all the feelings. And then I did my best to release them and step into Nico’s birthday with love, trust, and excitement. I’m so glad we did. This experience was incredibly beautiful in its own way. Recovery still isn’t easy, but it feels a little gentler this time, and I’m grateful we listened rather than pushed toward what could have become another emergency situation.

Things don’t always unfold how we imagine, but I truly believe there’s wisdom in listening to that quiet inner voice, whatever that looks like for you 🤍 I’m sharing this in hopes it encourages any parents navigating similar decisions. At the end of the day, we have a healthy, beautiful baby, and we’re so excited to watch him grow.
