My whys -

-They Catch What You Can’t See Yourself
Most clients don’t walk in knowing exactly what they need. That’s not a problem, that’s the job. I build the shot list and moodboard so you never have to figure it out alone.

-They Give You More Than You Expected
Every single client tells me some version of the same thing: the photos they use most are the ones they never would have thought to ask for.

-They Do the Talking Before You Do
Someone Googles you before a call. Reads your book and looks you up. Sees your proposal before they hear your voice. Your photos are already answering “is this who I think it is?” before you say a word.

If you’ve ever thought, I only need 1 or 2 headshots, because my job is just me and a computer. Let me stop you!

ITS SOOOO NOT TRUE! You just need someone who sees you and the power of your brand. Someone who is a creative partner, not a show up and shoot and see what ‘pretty’ pictures we get.

You need someone who knows the power of bringing out your unique fire. Who you are and how to communicate that visually so your dream clients book you without hesitation.

That doesn’t come with show up and shoot.

That comes with STRATEGY. SKILL. And a great playlist haha.

Business owners got a weird question….

Are you stuck in the waiting room??

And how the heck do you get out??

Let’s discuss

bay area brand photographer for the wildly heart-led

For a holistic nervous system coach like Morgan Starr-Riestis | Holistic Nervous System Regulation Expert whose entire work is about presence and safety, a stiff headshot was never going to cut it.

bay area brand photographer for the next chapter you’re stepping into

Morgan Morgan Starr-Riestis | Holistic Nervous System Regulation Expert was so ready to step into her next chapter. New website and HUGE book launch coming this Fall. Contributing to the New York Times. So much on the horizon and happening now.

Her brand shoot was all about showing up for that next chapter.

And it’s my favorite thing to make that dream brand shoot to showcase the next chapter a reality. Truly an honor.

Photographing a Holman Ranch wedding in Carmel Valley has been on my bucket list since I started shooting weddings.

I showed up on two hours of sleep. Mishka was nine months old at the time and kept us up all night.

Was running on adrenaline and a dream.
Weeeee📸

Dana and Mark they’re just the sweetest.
The kind of couple that makes your job feel less like work and more like witnessing something real.

As a Sacramento brand photographer the most common thing I hear is..
I want something different but I don’t know how to explain it.

You don’t have to explain it. That’s my job to figure out.

After my shoot with life coach Leah, LEAH MORRIS | Life Remade she said -
‘Shannon knew what I didn’t know, that I needed.’

you are the business, the brand, the content, and the burnout 🫠💃

As a bay area brand photographer I’ve seen TOO MANY “professional” brand photos.

Almost annoyingly safe.

The people I photograph aren’t looking for generic professional images.
They’re looking for MAGNETIC

Images that make your dream clients stop scrolling and think Oooo - SHE’s the one I need to book

if you’re done with photos that look fiiiiine but feel like nobody, my DMs are open.
