I want to take a moment to brag on this group of seniors at Ridgeland. After I fulfilled a favor for Scott Herpst (taking their shots today for the Walker County Messenger), they came to me, shook my hand and thanked me for coming. It’s easy to focus on the negative and say “kids today aren’t like they used to be.” But today, these young people reminded me that kindness still matters. Their actions spoke louder than words. Made my day.🖤🤍🏈
