I saved this quote for you, little baby Arthur:
“When love can manifest itself in its fullness, happiness passes through that person, reaching the other.”
It’s what you’ve done from the moment you came into this world.

I believe all the children embody that pure love effortlessly. Just by existing, they allow love to flow through them and reach everyone nearby. When in life do some of us lose that quality?

Norway was all about bonding — with each other as a family, and with myself.
When I think back to the hikes we did, surrounded by the most breathtaking nature, I feel so happy and content. Healthy enough to walk those trails, with my favorite people by my side, through stunning fjords and forests.

This is how a simple in-home family photo session with me usually unfolds.

You don’t need a perfect home, perfect clothes—or anything perfect at all. All you need is to be present. Laugh. Cry. Hug your kids. Just set aside your phone and forget the to-do list for an hour or two. Just BE together. I’ll take care of the rest. That’s my job—and I truly love it.

In the end, what truly matters are those sweet smiles, tiny hands, and most of all—YOU, just as you are, together as a family.

I see a girl.

She is safe. Content. Calm—with a sparkle in her eyes. A quiet excitement. She’s ready to play, to explore the world. She is grounded and free all at once.

Why?

Because there is a hand. A calm, strong, supportive hand. Reliable. Steady. It’s right there—ready to protect, to warm her, to offer exactly what she needs in that moment.

It’s a hand that doesn’t confine, but instead creates the kind of space—mind and soul—where someone can truly thrive. A hand that says: go on, explore, shine. You are seen. You are held.

There is so much power in pausing. In seeing beyond what’s visible at first glance.

I love playing this game—of looking deeper. And I always invite you to play too. Maybe you’ll see something else? Something that speaks only to you.

Even though I’ve always believed photography and videography are important parts of parenting—to preserve those sweet, fleeting moments—over the years, I’ve discovered so many deeper layers to this work.

The more I think about them, the more I feel the urge to speak, to share. Because like many humans, I want to make this world a better place. (Yes, I still believe in people.)

Raising children is already such a big deal. But raising them in a way that helps them see the light within themselves—and then find the strength to spread that light into the world—is an even greater challenge.

By “light,” I mean anything they feel deeply passionate about and are inspired to share to make life more beautiful, kind, fair, or true.

To support that kind of growth, I have to keep growing too. I want to be the kind of person who helps them become more themselves. And nothing has challenged me more on this journey than parenting.

So yes, photography and videography. I deeply believe that our children own a treasure. We capture so many images and videos of them, and with them. One day, they’ll look back and feel that love—unconditional love—again and again. It’s a beautiful trick we can play with the brain. And when we feel loved, we give love.

You may say I’m a dreamer… but I’m not the only one😉

One of the insights I gained with my third child is that my kids don’t belong to me. One night, when I was pregnant last time, I had a clear realization—the child I was carrying didn’t come into this world for me, not to make me or anyone in the family happy, not because I was shaping my life a certain way. He is his own person. So separate!

He will find his own path in life. I am simply lucky enough to witness his journey. I am not his creator, only a guide, someone who helps in the beginning. Watching my children grow and being immersed in their pure love is a beautiful side effect.

I think I first understood this when my daughter was much older. It’s a slightly bittersweet realization, but also a relief. I don’t need to strive for perfection, to provide the absolute best education, or to be the perfect parent. The only thing they truly need is to be loved—in whatever way I can give.

My first child was delivered in a hospital with the help of midwives. My second one—in a car.
For my last child, I decided on a home birth. Thanks to my clients, at whose births I had the privilege to be present, for introducing me to .

I already knew I could trust the midwives and was so excited to experience birth in the way I envisioned. My husband, my treasure, supported me every step of the way.

I worked through my fears and focused on feeling my body, staying present in the process. I am mesmerized by nature, by the power of a woman’s body, and by how we, as human beings, raise our children. I wanted to let go of all my fears, get rid of unnecessary hassle and trust my body to do what it was designed to do.

I truly felt so much appreciation for nature, my body, my family and friends, and the way things are set in the world. A true celebration of life.

I’m so grateful everything went well. It was an intense and long labor—longer and more painful than I expected. But I was at home, surrounded by my loved ones and supported by the incredible women at Gentle Birth and my friend , a wonderful birth doula and photographer.

A special treat was having my daughter, Sonya, choose to be there and witness it all. It definitely connected us on a deeper level.

If you ever have a question or need a word of support on your journey to parenthood, please do not hesitate to ask. I’ll be happy to share my experience.

If you’re planning a photo shoot this year, consider doing it at home, or at your favorite place to be as a family.
It doesn’t matter if your kitchen isn’t updated yet or if your furniture has a few scratches from pets.

What matters is the life you’re living right now—precious and beautiful in its own way. It’s about the way your child smiles at you, the way you hug your partner, and the sincerity of YOUR everyday moments.

Years from now, these are the memories that will make your heart melt.

This is what a perfect Christmas session feels like: Together. At home. No rushing.Opening presents, sharing hugs and kisses, helping each other, cuddling on the bed—doing whatever makes you feel relaxed, loved, and truly YOU.

Thank you, , for trusting me to capture these moments.

Traveling with kids might seem tough—especially when it’s a transatlantic flight, with a 3-month-old baby, 3 kids, and everyone gets jet-lagged. Twice.

But it is SO worth it!
I hope my kids carry these memories in their hearts, just like I do:
• Friends ❤️ and their friends. So many laughs, hugs, stories, cooking sessions, and exploring Spanish traditions together.
• Getting stuck in Cuenca Cathedral for a couple of hours. The kids got super curious about Jesus, the apostles, suffering, and torture. So many deep questions were discussed.
• The beach, the sea. It wasn’t super warm, but playing in the sand and water, feeling it under our feet, was magical. And having friends there made it even more joyful.
• Strolling through beautiful towns. The streets were filled with history, colors, textures, and stories. Sharing these feelings and discoveries with loved ones? Priceless.
• Hiking. How could we not? Climbing hills turned into a trip highlight for everyone.
• The food! Gelato, fresh fruits and veggies, turrón, Spanish Christmas cake, fish, paella… every meal felt like an adventure.

Usually, 10 days pass by in the blink of an eye when living your everyday life. But when you travel, those 10 days feel like a lifetime. A chance to see the world, try new things, grow, and deepen your connection with the people you love most.
