One week ago today, October 3rd in Grant Park at 10a, I married the most incredible man I’ve ever met 🥹 thank you for loving me like I’ve never been loved before .p._cage!! thank you for being a beautiful reflection of His love.
A little over three weeks ago, we were informed that we could no longer use the venue we had originally planned for our wedding planned for October 4th. we had to inform our guest that our wedding was canceled, but we still planned on getting married and for essentially two weeks with scrambled to find a Plan B.
But God showed up and showed out in ways. I never thought I could imagine. With His help, we were able to pivot in a way have made our Plan B look like Plan A. His hand was in every detail — the peace, the joy, the people who surrounded us, the perfect weather, the sunlight breaking through the trees. It was all Him.
I am so endlessly grateful for my husband, for our families and friends who stood with us, and for a God who makes all things new. This day was pure grace — and we can’t wait to share more photos soon 🥹🤎
