Seasons don’t really matter in San Diego. Throwing it back to this stunner with at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar. The day was beyond beautiful, but what stayed with me most was the way they moved through it—grateful, grounded, and completely in the moment. I often get asked about my favorite weddings. And the truth is, they’re all my favorite. Especially when you make choices that are important to you, your partner and your family. my favorite venue is the one that is important to you. High on that list though, is transforming your family’s lake cottage into your dream wedding location 💕

I had a quite a few sessions during the month of May. They were all wonderful and just reminded me how important it is to document families and their love for one another. Photos are really powerful for you now, but they truly gain value through the years. For you, for them, forever.

This session, though, was so very special for me. Annie and I have been friends for over 20 years (really aging us here) and have seen each other through different lifetimes. Sometimes, distance and time got in between but our friendship always picked right back up. Especially once we both had kids. Kids. Change. Everything.

Annie’s youngest daughter was diagnosed with a rare neuro-genetic disorder, Angelman’s Syndrome. Watching Annie and her family navigate her diagnosis has been nothing short of inspiring. They are consistently raising awareness and advocating for Kaia and other children with Angelman’s Syndrome. If you feel inspired to donate to ASF, please check the link in my stories.
