What an amazing time working with and House of Suntory for the first Art of Composition photo/ whiskey class! We worked with vintage cameras and BW film. Through the afternoon we learned about (and tasted) Yamazaki Mizunara 25 and explored Japanese photographers. After walking around the city and using up our rolls of film we kicked it .sushi for high balls and snacks. Can not think of a better confluence of my two favorite subjects!

Loved shooting with this week and teaming up with her lovely styling and getting to work on new cocktails together!

Petra cocktail

2 denizen 3yr5 Moroccan Tagine syrup*
Stir and pour over large cube
Squeeze 1/4 wedge lime and 1 kumquat and discard

Garnish with whole kumquat and lime twist and dusting of Tagine spice

4oz 1:1 simple
Peal of 1 lime 5 tsp Moroccan Tagine spice mix
Pinch salt
Combine and let sit for 1+hours for best results

Mediterranean tonic
1oz Stone Barn Brandyworks Nocino5oz amontillado
(Optional 1oz London dry gin)
Garnish with raspberry and serve with a straw or swizzle!

Warming notes of Nocino while still being refreshing and low proof enough for a second!
