Lots of time spent this week matting and packaging prints. Art in real life is such a pleasure vs digital. The textures, lighting and paper add something unachievable on a screen. It makes me so happy.

One of Batavia's most iconic landmarks is the "Peace Bridge" across the beautiful Fox River. This pedestrian walkway is built from steel reddened by time. If you know the area, you know the sound it makes from those walking and biking across it. Now a year-round sign, the "Peace On Earth" message demonstrates the Batavian way of life.
