This wedding held at The St. Regis Chicago was one of the most gorgeous venues I have ever photographed. From the venue selection to the decorations, everything was top-notch, which showed how much importance the couple placed on this wedding. In addition to the traditional Chinese ceremonies like picking up the bride and serving tea, there were also Western elements like the first look and first dance. The biggest surprise was the free fireworks show at Navy Pier at night, which provided the perfect backdrop. Working a 12-hour day as the photographer and videographer was an immense challenge, but being able to shoot in such a beautiful environment was also an enjoyment.
