I didn’t start photographing newborns because it was a business idea.
I started because I became a mom.
Before this, I was an ER nurse working long, exhausting 12-hour shifts, walking into chaos every day, and walking out carrying it with me. I loved caring for people, but when I had my first baby, something shifted.
Those early newborn days slowed me down in a way nothing else ever had.
Photography became the bridge. It let me keep serving families, but in a different way. Instead of emergencies, I now step into homes during the softest chapter of life. Instead of rushing through twelve-hour shifts, I get to build a life where I’m here for my kids and fully present for yours (which sometimes is a nice change of scenery) 😆
My background still lives in everything I do. The patience. The ability to read a room, a baby, a moment. And the deep respect for how vulnerable and powerful this season really is.
