We had the coziest, playful session in studio this weekend-- frigid winter days sometimes make the warmth indoors the most noticeable!

Sometimes the phrase "studio session" can sound stiff and lifeless--these sessions were anything but. There's so much room for personality and fun here!!

A stunning day for my last outdoor session of the season-- and it was a joy to get to serve this new client family and help them celebrate a big milestone!

Oh that late-fall light and color was out in abundance this weekend...and with a 65 degree high we had the time of our lives!!

My final weekend of fall family minis was gorgeous, delightful, and logistically nutty...when both my session date and my rain date were packed with showers, falling temps, and a decent chance of snow ❄️ I started to worry about whether we could get these in (especially before losing all the GORGEOUS color that finally showed up in Chicago!)

Thanks to my amazing clients, who trusted me to wait until the last minute to call these (and several who shuffled around to dodge the forecast), we not only got them done, they were perfect...I literally walked away from the last session in the first sprinkles 🙌

I'll be happy if next year holds a little less drama, but honestly, it was *all worth it* to get to make beauty like this for people like this. My clients are the very best, and I feel so lucky to be the one capturing their love!
