First 2026 wedding delivered & off to the next one tomorrow! This season is about to kick off like crazy, and I’m ready for it. Natalie & Josh’s wedding was the first wedding, I think ever, that I felt 100% excitement and 0% nerves. It only took 7 years to get here. What a privilege this job is.

My cozy new website is here to celebrate 10 years of AK Photography! ✨ I made my first sale as a photographer in 2016 when a sorority sister asked me to take her graduation photos at Purdue. Since then, this business has given me so much! A sense of ownership, purpose, humility, a reminder to keep evolving, a place to be of service, the means to buy a home, friendship, confidence, creative freedom, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on people’s lives. I’m so grateful to all the beautiful people who have been brave enough to be seen in a real way in front of my lens for the past 10 years. It kind of blows my mind. Thank you to those of you who’ve been a supporter from the beginning. I couldn’t have made it here without you. I am now booking into 2027! Come join me! I know there’s so many more good things to come.

Jess & Michael at Crown Hill Cemetery, where they are artists in residence. Creating with fellow artists always adds a special level of intentionality to the day. Jess & Michael did an exquisite co**se drawing during their ceremony, where they folded a piece of paper and continued the other person’s drawing without knowing what the other person had previously drawn. Jess designed and drew all their signage, picked wildflowers for her bouquet, and punched out all the confetti for their exit from leaves. I love seeing people make their wedding days exactly how they want them to be. Thanks for having me, friends 🫶
