Ready to move beyond basic lighting and start using colour with intention?
For the next Portraits with Kambua Workshop, we’re diving into red, yellow and blue gels and learning how colour can completely change the mood, energy and story of a portrait.
We’ll work hands-on with lighting, gel placement, colour balance, background control and creative portrait direction so you can create images that feel bold, cinematic and intentional.

July Workshop: Shadows
I’m so excited about teaching and exploring shadows this month. Join me and let’s explore together. DM for more information otherwise, see you Sunday. Handout will be available to all the paid students.
Always remember, do not brighten the shadow simply because it’s dark. Brighten it only when the portrait needs information the shadow is holding. Create with intention, direct with care and let the shadows speak. Can’t wait to see what the shadows say this Sunday.
