“You can just feel the love that day brought through the photos” 🤧 🥹

And that’s really what it’s all about. 

Not just showing up with a camera, but being present enough actually to catch something worth keeping. I’ve been reflecting on how much it means when a couple trusts you with their wedding day; the weight of that, and the beauty of it. These aren’t just images. They’re the way someone’s person looked at them. The way a whole room felt. They are everything.

I am eternally grateful every single time 🤍

A few days after they said their vows at the courthouse, William + Shuang wanted to celebrate it properly — just the two of them. The Art Institute of Chicago and the city they call home.

There’s something so intentional about that. They didn’t wait for a big day to make it meaningful. They made it meaningful on their own terms, quietly and completely.

We wandered throughout the halls, amongst the art, the steps, and the architecture, and the whole shoot just felt like an exhale. Like a celebration that was truly them!

Mary Kate and Mark were high school crushes, but timing just wasn’t right at the time. Life pulled them in different directions for seven years, and it always amazes me how fate always steps in sooner or later.  They started talking and found out Mark had just moved to Chicago. To Mary Kate’s same neighborhood. Five minutes from her front door. Well, the rest is history.

After falling in love in Bridgeport, photographing their engagement in Chicago felt like the only option. Oh foggy North Ave Beach, you were the perfect backdrop for this one 🏙️

Maya and Will at Camp Vista, and this one had all the details that make a wedding feel like it was written just for them. 

Two worlds woven together seamlessly and beautifully on this day, as Camp Vista holds such a dear place in Maya and Will’s hearts. Everything about this day was delivered on every level. From how stunning Maya was in her dress from , to every perfect plate and floral arrangement at for their reception. Not to mention the Thunderbird sitting out front aka, the same car Will’s parents had at their own wedding.

Every moment was a dream that nobody wanted to wake up from 🌿💭
