Quick little update!

Hey all! Christine here.

I just wanted to pop on here real quick to let you know that I've moved cross country out to Colorado and am currently taking maternity leave. Yup, you heard me right we've moved and are also having a baby.

It's been one crazy summer, that's for sure.

I will definitely miss all of my Chicago clients but hopefully will see you guys in the near future and if you are ever in the Colorado area please feel free to contact me.

The first time I photographed Megan and Daniel was during their engagement session in 2016 in the SouthLoop of Chicago. We went around the lake and got some gorgeous skyline shots with a mixture of Chicago's awesome graffiti sprinkled in as well.

After that I photographed their wedding at Steven's point Wisconsin! It was such an honor to be there on such a momentous occasion in their lives.

So of course, when Megan contacted me this year about photographing their little ones this summer I had to say YES! It was so great to meet the two newest members of their family. Baby P and Baby O were all giggles, smiles, and of course some mini little meltdowns.

Katherine & Charles have been focused on their wedding day for over two years now. As University of Chicago alumni they knew there was no other place they’d rather get married than in the city of Chicago.��

When they first contacted me those two years ago, they were sweet, easy going, and madly in love. When we braved the Chicago winter together for their engagement session I knew their wedding was going to be one for the record books.

��The amount of laughter and tears throughout the day really expressed how much everyone at the wedding cares for Katherine & Charles. When her mom leaned in to give Katherine some advice earlier that morning, it was such a precious moment I almost burst into tears too. ��

From their vows, to the kind words that were spoken during speeches and even including some of their guests in the last few songs, this wedding was definitely one to remember.

��After the event, we went to the Riverwalk to capture some iconic cityscape portraits before the thunderstorms rolled in. We ended the day with Katherine and Charles sealing their love with a kiss under the protection of an umbrella. A perfect end to a wonderful day.

��Congratulations Katherine & Charles, thanks for letting us be apart of your special day and we wish you nothing but the best!

Guys! This sneak peek today is SUPER ADORABLE.��Beth contacted me while I was in California visiting some family and it was perfect timing because once I was back in Chicago we were able to schedule a session for that coming weekend!��Beth wanted to have a newborn session done with her newest addition to the family so her and Jim were lovely enough to invite me into their home so that we could capture these sweet memories of their family of three. This little guy was awake for almost his entire session! What?! But seriously.. how cute can you get??? Congratulations again you guys!

Kaylee, Alex and their fur baby Sydney are expecting one more little one to be added to their sweet family in Chicago!

I was so glad to get a phone call from Kaylee late last year about doing some maternity photo’s in their apartment in Chicago as well as some outdoor ones too!

I think we’ve been blessed with a very mild winter up till now, but this little cold snap we got was PERFECT for their outdoor location because the ground had just been speckled with snow. Not only that, but the usually windy Chicago decided to tone it down that day when we went over to Olive Park for some portraits outside.

With a sweet couple, beautiful backdrop, and adorable pup we were able to get the most gorgeous photo’s done.

Congratulations again you two! You guys have such an amazing journey ahead.

What a gorgeous day to be photographing a bridal session! This past weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Sameera for her bridal session.

If you don't recall, I photographed their engagement and courthouse wedding last year! They had just come back from down south and were looking to get some gorgeous portraits of her in her dress with some of Chicago's iconic spots.

Jason and Jessie came all the way from Colorado to spend some vacation time in our city of Chicago. They hung out around the city and then on Tuesday Jason told Jessie that he really wanted to go to the North side of the Lake to see the view of the city from there. What Jessie didn’t know is that I was waiting for them at that spot to photograph Jason proposing!

The uber ended up dropping them off a little too far up north, but Jason was able to play it off that he wanted to get a closer look at where they had filmed a movie. Once they were there, he got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife!

Afterwards, we strolled around the Lake and got some gorgeous shots of them with Chicago as their backdrop.

Congratulations again you two!

Fall is in the air you guys!

I had the pleasure to work with the T Family again this year and it was so good to see these two kids looking so grown up!

We had some adventures walking around Humboldt Park playing tag, throwing leaves in the air, and exploring some ponds. In between all of that we of course took some family pictures!

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend with that extra hour of sleep.
