Hands On ChiCAGO Hands On… Hands On…ChiCAGO is the first inception of photographer Doug Birkenheuer’s Hands On… project.

Hands On…ChiCAGO was created with the participation of eight Chicagoans of every race, gender, culture and sexual orientation. Photographing them in this light shows less detail of differences but rather how similar they are. It’s a compelling interpretation of what makes Chicago great…our diversity.
