based in chicagoland hello👋
my name's Emily Elizabeth, and I'm a photographer in the Chicagoland area. Email or DM me for any inquiries!

Ever since I can remember, I've always been passionate in capturing and keeping memory of the little things in life - which I would argue are so incredibly underrated. I love capturing and depicting what's around us - nature, cities, landscapes, people - in their truest most comfortable yet authentic sides. I love sharing everything through my lens in my travels, but also do portrait photography f

or families, maternity, and engagements. Follow me in capturing the essence of all the places and faces 📸

been a little quiet on here lately ... 2026 has already brought some big, life-changing things ✨

AJ and I are officially homeowners! I still can’t really believe I’m typing that🙈 We are so excited, but more than anything just deeply grateful. The way God has provided for us and orchestrated this season of life has not been lost on us 🙌🏻

There has been a lot of heaviness in the world. I know so many of us are carrying things that feel heavy and unseen. That has honestly been part of why I’ve stepped back a bit here.. Sometimes it feels strange to celebrate when others are hurting.

But, I’ve always wanted this space to be a little creative escape. A little corner of the internet to document the moments in life, both big and small. A virtual time capsule if you will⏳️🌞
At its root, photography has always been a way for me to document feelings and moments as they happen. Not just the professional work or pretty landscapes, but the raw and real moments too.

Of course I had to bring the 35mm camera to closing weekend. These feel like sacred little memories I’ll hold onto forever 🎞💛

More film from the past few months coming soon 😊

post hike lunch looks a little different up on Seceda ✨️
if there was any place in the world I could choose to teleport to at any time, it'd probably be here 🏞🙌🏻
Truly nothing more I could ask for to have made this day more perfect... except slow time down😆

It feels so crazy to me that we are going into a new year already! Every year feels like it moves faster than the last🙈
2025 was full of juxtaposition, with moments of uncertainty and big choices alongside memories I’ll always treasure and new opportunities that reinvigorated me.
As always, I am so incredibly grateful for this community and the ability to be creative and share our art and passions with one another.

Here's to a new year and new beginnings, and that it's never too late to honor and trust your own path ✨️🌞📸

views from the lifeguard stand 🛟✨🌊

I was wandering the shoreline with my camera when a lifeguard spotted me and said he’d just been telling his coworker how someone *needed* to photograph the colors + view that day because they were too pretty to miss. He invited me up to the lifeguard stand for a better view and it ended up being one of those little moments that makes me so grateful I always bring my camera along 🙌🏻🌞

Missing Sicilian beach days extra lately as we approach the winter solstice ❄️

Accidental double exposures from Sicily✨️
this was my first time traveling with my film camera and let's just say I was really overthinking if the film was winding forward properly for this roll 😆🙈
It led to some happy accidents that I now really cherish though - I feel like it really encapsulates what Sicily feels like 🌞

more climbing than hiking, and definitely a little daunting with rescue teams training nearby 😆🙈
but Beehive Trail rewarded us with one of the coolest views, and even in November we caught those last bits of iconic East Coast fall foliage🍂
