Happy 2026! After a few blissful, sun-soaked weeks in India and Bangkok, we’re back in Chicago — and the temperature change has been quite the shock 🥶.

Looking back, 2025 was a year of reflection and growth in my photography journey. I spent a lot of time refining my artistic direction and exploring how I want to tell stories through my lens. This year, I’m excited to share more travel and lifestyle imagery while continuing to capture the intimate portraits and small family sessions that mean so much to me.

My new website has been taking shape behind the scenes, and I can’t wait to share it with you soon. In the meantime, here are some winter favorites I’ve captured over time — in very different seasons of my life in Chicago over the past 8 years!

I initially came to Coyoaćan to see Frida Kahlo’s house, but the streets took me through a different story. Yellow facades, from colonial buildings to the Capilla de Santa Catarina, catch light in a way that feels effortless. Murals and street art, deep with meaning appeared in alleys, kind of blending into everyday life. I continued shooting in my Fuji, so you can see the cinematic style weighing in. I focused on small, lived in details - the textures, the colors and moments that made the neighborhood feel alive.

Seven years ago, and I packed up our lives in Australia and moved to Chicago—knowing no one, bracing for winters I was sure I couldn’t survive, and already missing the life we’d left behind.

Seven years later, we look back in awe at the journey we’ve had. This city has surprised us, challenged us, and embraced us. We’re still in awe by its energy, its seasons, and its people—and now, we can’t imagine calling anywhere else home.

The thing we’re all running after ? It’s here, today, now.
