This summer I've had the opportunity to do several different photo and video projects for the , but the most recent was especially meaningful as it was a music camp. The camp was free to the students, and there were four different ensembles that were directed by some of the best of the best players in Chicago. There were some super-talented kids in the groups, and in the video you'll hear that as all of the music under the B-roll was performed by the students from their final concert.

I've been working on a series of videos for Juliet and Matt and here is a short clip from their most recent release. We had a lot of fun filming this one, and special thanks to Anna Cillan Photography for her awesome studio and filling in on smoke machine!

I had a blast working on this amazing project. Wesley Carr had a series of pieces commissioned for Mandolin and Classical Guitar. The incredible Fareed Haque on guitar and equally incredible Wesley Carr on Mandolin knocked out some quite difficult material over a two day session. All video and editing by yours truly, and special thanks to Bryan Clavey for his amazing mobile audio recording skills. Right now I'm wrapping up editing for the last piece. Happy 2025, everyone. I’m a little late posting, but I wanted to share some of my favorite images of 2024 a little differently this year. I decided to mix some of my favorite shots associated with personal experiences as well as professional ones.

2024 was filled with a variety of experiences, from working with the Grammy-winning ensemble Eighth Blackbird once again, all the way to my first shoot at a racetrack. The eclipse in April was an amazing life experience (my second one), and thanks to all my other awesome clients I worked with for headshots and concert photography (sorry I couldn't get everyone in below)!

Fun studio shoot with John Elmquist at Transient Sound Recording Studio Studio last week. I've had the privilege of listening and sometimes participating in John's epic compositions over the past 20 years now. He has so much music in his mind and is always documenting it in the studio.

I had a fun photo shoot with Pamela York and her Affinity trio a couple of weeks ago. Pamela is a fantastic Chicago based pianist and we had a great time collaborating on this shoot.
