I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Rev. Jackson on several occasions, but none as intimate as this. Having the opportunity to meet a man whose leadership in civil rights has helped to shape our culture and inspire hope amongst millions. This opportunity meant shaking hands with hands that have shaken hands with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. And President Barack Obama. This was an opportunity to look into the eyes that have seen the world and seen to the advancement colored people. To connect with such an important person in our history it is an honor to be able to share it with you through my lens!
