#18 - Otakon 2021

Otakon 2021 was the first convention I attended in 17 months since the beginning of the quarantine. It was a major refresher to return to making convention music videos. This stood out for starting the post pandemic era for my channel applying all the things I learned throughout the months without conventions. Since this event, the journey continued for me and I felt this is where my channel really started to take shape.

After 17 long months, I am finally back at conventions! Check out a...

#19 - Anime St. Louis 2025

This was definitely one of my most memorable comeback videos in my 10 year history. In 2017, I attended for the first time Anime St. Louis and my video got quite a lot of attention. Unfortunately, years following that, it was quite tough dealing with how highly sought after appearing in this video was. Everyone wanted to be included. The 2019 video had issues with not featuring enough of the community to meet the demand. And unfortunately I was involved in some drama from certain branches of the STL community. As a result, I was away from attending this con for 6 years. However, a certain cosplayer named HikariKitty Cosplay who is one of the admins of STL Cosplayers Unite (which is like the STL version of CosMeetup) invited me to come back and we were working together for months discussing a brand new reboot video correcting several of the shortcomings from older videos. In 2025, I returned and overall, I was quite pleased on how this video came out. It was longer, featured more cosplayers, and really showed a more united community unlike how cliquey it felt in the late 2010s. If it ever meets my schedule, I definitely plan to return again soon.

#20 - Cosplay Quarantine 6 (released in May 2020)

Cosplay Quarantine was a series myself and ModernAnimator came up with during the pandemic. It was a submission based Cosplay Music Video where cosplayers from all over the world record and submit video content to be presented in one big video. I myself released a total of 7 videos before the eventual return of conventions. But my personal favorite was definitely the 6th installment. Unity is something that meant so much to me in making CMVs and this video truly showed how strong our community was even when we didn't have events to meetup during COVID. Everyone was truly at their best whether no matter where they are.

Find out each day in October for the rest of my Top 20 favorite CMVs of all time.
